Warren Williams

British (1863-1918)

British artist Warren Williams (1863-1918) was a painter and illustrator who studied under John Finnie at the Liverpool School of Art. Throughout his career, Williams exhibited nearly 100 works at the Royal Cambrian Academy in Manchester, where he was elected an associate member, as well as at the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. He illustrated a number of publications, including Historic Warwick. Williams resided in Conway, Wales and today his works are included in the collections of public art institutions in Durban and Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.
