Juliet M. White
American (1880-1997)
Juliet M. White was born in Philadelphia in 1880. She studied at the Philadelphia School of Design for Women, which became the largest art school for women in the United States. Its faculty included Robert Henri, Samuel Murray and Daniel Garber. In 1932, it merged into what is now the Moore College of Art and Design. She also studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and in Paris. She exhibited her work at the Corcoran Gallery, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Art Institute of Chicago and Paris Salon. She taught at The Ogontz School for Young Ladies in Rydal, Pennsylvania.
