Curtis Jere is the collaborative name used by Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels, two talented artists who joined forces to create exceptional metal sculptures. Freiler, born in 1910, and Fels, born in 1922, met during the 1950s in California and quickly recognized the artistic potential of their partnership. Together, they embarked on a creative journey that would span several decades and result in the birth of the iconic Curtis Jere brand.
