Edmond Yarz

French (1846-1912)

A landscape painter, Edmond Yarz was born in Toulouse, France in 1846. Yarz debuted at the Paris Salon was in 1876. After his debut, Yarz won numerous medals for his works at exhibits with the Society of French Artists, beginning in 1881, including a gold medal at the Universal Exposition in 1889. His work was awarded the Legion of Honor in 1903. Yarzís works can be found in the collections of the Bourges and Nantes museums.
