Raymond Wintz

French (born 1884)

Known as both a painter and etcher, Raymond Wintz was born in Paris in 1884. Wintz received his artistic training with painters Jules Adler and Gabriel Ferrier. Beginning in 1910, Wintz exhibited his works regularly at the Salon des Artistes Francais, where he became a member. His works received numerous awards over the years, including a gold medal and the Corot Prize in 1924.
