British (1873-1923)
British artist Henry Mitton Wilson (1873-1923) spent his career working in London and St. Albans, Hertfordshire. His genre scenes and paintings of rural life at the coast and in the country received considerable attention at major exhibition venues throughout England, including the Royal Society of Artists in Birmingham and the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. Wilson also submitted twenty-two works to the annual exhibitions of the prestigious Royal Academy in London.
