Francisco Sillue

Spanish (b. 1936)

Born in 1936 in Barcelona, expressive painter Francisco Sillue studied Fine Arts at the School of Arts and Crafts while working in several industrial engraving workshops. An inveterate traveler, Sillue sketched and painted in the Place du Tertre in Paris and throughout Norway, Sweden, London and Catalonia, where he took up residence in Stiges. With more than 60 solo exhibitions, Sillue’s work has been exhibited widely in galleries throughout Spain, Holland, Portugal, Norway, Germany, England, Columbia, Switzerland, France and the United States.
