British artist Clarence Henry Roe was active during the late 19th century. Clarence was the son of Robert Henry Roe, a landscape artist who exhibited at the Royal Academy. Having studied under his father, and with an established clientele through his father’s studio, Clarence Henry Roe became well-known for his Highland landscapes, and also worked as a printmaker.
