John Anthony Puller
British (fl. 1821-1867)
Puller exhibited extensively at the British Institute, the Royal Academy from 1821 through 1862, and at the Royal Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street from 1825 until 1867. Initially a landscape painter, capturing scenes along the Thames, Puller became increasingly interested in genre painting, and became well-known for portraying intimate scenes of life in the English countryside.
