William Samuel Parkyn

British (1875-1949)

A marine and landscape painter, Parkyn studied at the Blackburn School and under Louis Grier in Cornwall, England. He exhibited his works at the Royal Academy, the Royal Institute of Painter in Watercolor, the Royal Cambrian Society and the Royal West of England Academy. Parkyn was a member of the St. Ives Art Society and the London Sketch Club.
