Matthias John Noheimer

American (1909-1982)

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1909, painter, illustrator and instructor Matthias Noheimer studied at the University of Cincinnati and the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Noheimer was a member of the Cincinnati Association and exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Cincinnati Museum, San Francisco Museum of Art, Cincinnati New Group and American Institute of Graphic Arts. He also illustrated several books including Any Day Now, A Baker’s Dozen and Ali Baba.

Noheimer’s works are held in a number of public and private collections throughout Ohio and Illinois.
