Louis Simon Cabaillot Lassalle

Genre painter and illustrator Louis Simon Cabaillot Lassalle was born in Paris in 1810. He studied with Pierre Paris and Charles Louis Lucien Muller. Lassalle exhibited at the Paris Salon between 1851 and 1868 and was commissioned by the government of France to paint “The Floods of 1856” and “The Youth of Napoleon III.”
