Erich Kubierschky
German (1854-1944)
Born in Frankenstein, Germany, Erich Kubierschky lived in Munich for most of his life. He trained at the Academy of Berlin, and along with being a painter, was a professor at the Academy of Leipzeg. Among other awards, his artwork won a medal in Munich in 1890 and an honorable mention in Paris in 1900. Kubierschky’s works are in the collections of museums in Berlin, Breslau, and Leipzig.
