Alois Janak
Czechoslovakian (b. 1924)
Born in Krasne Brezno, Czechoslovakia in 1924, painter, etcher and lithographer Alois Janak studied art in Prague under Professor Spacek and by 1952 had devoted himself completely to his art. Janak’s first one-man show opened in the United States in 1956 and was followed by a similar exhibition at the Galerie Marcel Bernheim in Paris the following year. Since 1957, Janak has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout Europe and abroad.
