Sandra James

American (fl. 1940s-50s)

American artist Sandra James (fl. 1940s-50s) worked in both New York City and Winter Harbor, Maine. She was a member of the American Watercolor Society, Audubon Artists, and Allied Artists of America. James exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Irvington Museum Association, and the L.D.M. Sweat Museum (now the Portland Museum of Art in Portland, Maine), where she won an award in 1957.
