Paul Harney

American (1850-1915)

Born in New Orleans in 1850, landscape and still life painter Paul Harney studied at National Academy of Design in New York City and at the Royal Academy in Munich. A founding member of the Saint Louis Art Guild and member of the Society of Western Artists, Harney was also Director of Art and a professor at Shurtleff College.
