Edwin Gamble

Edwin Gamble is a sculptor and painter, capturing birds and other wildlife in a graceful, minimalist manner, quickly gleaning their character and their essential postures and actions in his sketches and sculptures. Gamble lives in Brunswick, Maine and is a well-known Maine artist, his work having been represented most recently at a one-man exhibition at the Farnsworth Museum, Rockland, Maine. Aside from this exhibition, Gamble has shown his work at the Portland Museum of Art, the Boston Institute of Contemporary Art, the Phillips Gallery, Washington, DC the Bates College Museum as well as many galleries throughout Maine and New England.
