David Fertig
American (b. 1946)
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1946, artist and teacher David Fertig studied at the Philadelphia College of Art and Art Institute of Chicago. Fertig has exhibited in museums and galleries in the United Kingdom, Canada, California, New York, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Delaware, Connecticut, Washington and New Jersey. Fertig taught at the Philadelphia College of Art and Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
Fertig’s works are held in numerous public and private collections including the State Museum of Pennsylvania, Woodmere Museum, Colgate University, Evansville Museum of Arts and Sciences, Millersville State College and University of Minnesota.
