Charles Dukes

British (fl. 1829-1865)

Charles Dukes was an accomplished landscape and genre painter. He studied with British landscape artist, Edmund John Niemann, and throughout his career exhibited over 100 works at the Royal Academy, the British Institute and the Royal Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street. Dukes was active in London from 1829 until 1865.
