Nora Davison

British painter Nora Davison captured landscapes in oils and watercolors throughout her career. She lived in Cavendish Square in London but painted rural marine scenes. Her works focused on images of the coast including ships, ports, sail makers, and harbors. She displayed her paintings extensively in London from 1881 to 1900, primarily showing her watercolors. She exhibited at the Royal Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street from 1881-1893, as well as at the prestigious Royal Academy and the New Watercolour Society. In addition, she showed her paintings at several galleries in London including the Grosvenor Gallery and the New Gallery.
