A resident of Portland, Maine, Corriero has always been a painter of the sea. He has been painting the dramatic cliffs and the foaming surf of Monhegan Island since 1970, and can also be found exploring and painting at the ocean’s edge near Prouts Neck. Corriero’s art instruction began at the School of Visual Arts and the Arts Student League in New York. His works can be found in many private and corporate collections throughout the United States. Corriero is a member of the Central New York Watercolor Society, the Knickerbocker Artists and the American Watercolor Society.
