Eugene Henri Cauchois
French (1850-1911)
Born in Rouens, France, Cauchois lived in Paris, and exhibited extensively at the Paris Salon beginning in 1874. He received a number of prestigious awards for his work, including the Medal of Honor in 1891, as well as a second class medal in 1900 at the Exposition Universelle. Cauchois was a member of the Societe des Artistes Francais, and also exhibited his works at the salons in Saint Etienne and Dijon.
