Pal Bohm
Hungarian (1839-1905)
Born in Nagyvard, Hungary on December 28, 1939, Bohm studied art in Vienna and Budapest. He later established his studio in Munich, where he lived until his death in 1905. Bohm was well-known for his genre paintings depicting the lives of the fishermen and gypsies living in his native Hungary, as well as his genre and landscape paintings.
Bohm’s works are in the permanent collections of the National Gallery in Budapest and the Cologne Museum.
