Henry Block
American (1875-1938)
A painter and engraver, Block was born in Lithuania and came to the United States in 1895. He studied at the Arts Student League, and was a member of the Newark Art Club, the Society of Independent Artists and the Plainfield Art Association. Block`s works can be found in the collections of the New York Public Library, the Denver Museum of Art, the Los Angeles Museum of Science, History and Art and the Franklin Institute, Philadelphia, PA.
