Louisa E. Blacker

Irish (fl. 1884-1912)

Louisa Blacker lived in Cappoquin, Ireland in 1884 and by 1888 had moved to Castle Martin, Newbridge, Ireland. In 1895 she had immigrated to London where she took up residence at 23 Evelyn Mansions, Carlisle Place. Louisa exhibited at The Society of Women Artists, London in 1884 and showed eight works at The Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin between 1888 and 1890. In 1895 she exhibited at The Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours, London and at The Royal Academy, London in 1912.
