Blanche Baker

American (1844-1929)

Blanche Baker was born in Bristol, England, and is well-known as a painter of the English countryside. From 1869 until 1893, she exhibited at the Royal Academy in London, at Suffolk Street and at the Society of New Watercolorists. She was also a member of the Society of Lady Artists. In 1902, she is listed as a resident of Los Angeles, California.
