J. Winthrop Andrews

American (b.1879)

Born in Yonkers, New York in 1879, Andrews studied at the Massachusetts School of Art with Impressionist painters Frank DuMond and Joseph DeCamp. Andrews was a member of the Yonkers Art Association and the Eastern Art Association. He was also Director of Art at the Yonkers public school.
